Linux:

  • Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise-level Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, etc.) in cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Perform system performance tuning, optimization, patching, and upgrades.
  • Develop and implement automation scripts for system management (Bash, Python, Ansible Playbook, etc.).
  • Possess deep knowledge of Linux internals (kernel tuning, networking, file systems, etc.).
  • Collaborate with the DevOps team, RM team, and development team to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex system issues.
  • Create runbooks, incident reports, and documentation for effective troubleshooting and knowledge sharing.
  • Understanding of generating & reviewing vulnerabilities across the platform.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to handle production incidents and ensure high availability of services.

Kubernetes:

  • Be able to install custom applications with the help of vendor documentation using Helm.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot issues within Kubernetes clusters, including node health, pod failures, and resource limitations.
  • Design, build, and manage Kubernetes clusters from scratch, writing YAML manifests and RBAC, ensuring scalable and reliable Kubernetes infrastructure.
  • Have good knowledge of CSI drivers, etcd, ingress, and all external dependencies to the cluster.
  • Experience with developing and managing HELM charts
  • Experience with deploying, configuring& Monitoring (Trouble shooting) on prem  Open Source Kubernetes clusters

Docker:

  • Experience in installing and configuring Docker, containers/CRI-O, and other runtimes.
  • Be able to write Compose files and build Docker Compose environments.
  • Build, manage, and optimize Docker images, ensuring security and performance best practices.
  • Ability to expose containers using HAProxy.
  • Implement security policies for Docker, including image scanning and vulnerability management.

DevOps(Good to Know)

  • Experience in managing and tuning JFrog Artifactory, Xray, SonarQube, Jenkins, GitLab, etc.
  • Experience with upgrading Enterprise Applications.
  • Work with all application teams to create pipelines for deployments/automation.
  • Comfortable working with Jenkinsfile, and familiarity with DSL.
