Position Title & Overview:

In this role, you will lead and manage our data projects, leveraging data as a core asset to drive business value. You will be responsible for building and leading data initiatives from the ground up, bridging the gap between our robust data infrastructure and our strategic business objectives.

As a Data, Sr. Product Manager, you will oversee the collection, organization, storage, and sharing of data across the organization. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong background in SQL, data warehousing (e.g., Snowflake), and BI tools (such as Domo and Looker). The ability to champion data literacy and drive data adoption across the organization will be crucial to your success.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Milestone based planning, execution, and delivery of data and analytics initiatives
  • Partner with engineering and business teams to align data efforts with company goals
  • Translate complex data needs into actionable requirements
  • Define and track KPIs for data initiatives
  • Adapt to feedback, industry changes, and new data opportunities
  • Availability to travel up-to on-site locations for team retreats, industry events/conferences and the annual all hands events approximately 20% of the time

Requirements

Location:

  • Applicants must be based in the United States

You Have:

  • 7+ years of product management experience, including defining, launching, and optimizing products and services
  • 4+ years of experience working with data or analytics products
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Experience with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake) and BI tools (e.g., Domo, Looker)
  • Excellent communication skills to both technical and non-technical contributors and stakeholders
  • Experience in defining and tracking KPIs to measure project success
  • Experience with a research and validation oriented approach to a product lifecycle
  • Ability to understand complex systems and identify interdependencies
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery
  • Availability to travel to on-site locations for team retreats, industry events/conferences and the annual all hands events approximately 20% of the time

Nice to have:

  • Ad Tech industry experience and familiarity with technologies like OpenRTB, Prebid, and Google Ad Manager (GAM), preferred
  • Experience with HubSpot integrations
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations and compliance

At Mediavine, base salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range.  Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications. The base salary range for this role at the time of posting is $145,000 - $165,000 USD/yr.
