About this role
Join us as a Test Engineer to support an exciting digital initiative, ensuring the quality of cutting-edge products. You’ll work in an agile environment, building automation test solutions and embedding usability, accessibility, and security into services. This role requires BPSS clearance and offers flexibility to work from any hub outside London.

Your Responsibilities

Build and maintain robust automated test frameworks for UIs and APIs.
Support CI/CD pipelines to run comprehensive tests and assure builds.
Assess risks and adopt a context-driven approach to agile testing.
Collaborate with engineers to solve problems and improve product quality.
Report progress, manage defects, and challenge assumptions to drive excellence.

About You
We’re looking for passionate technologists who enjoy working in collaborative agile teams. You’ll need to be a clear, concise, and engaging communicator with people on your team. We enjoy the big picture and the detail; we want people who excel at both.

Demonstrable skills in Java or JavaScript and software engineering practices.
Experience with the testing lifecycle, from business needs to production.
Knowledge of non-functional testing (performance, security, accessibility).
A passionate advocate for quality, adaptable, and familiar with CI/CD principles.
Bonus: Understanding of authentication methods (OAuth, OIDC, JWT).
