First Look - Freelance Commerce Producer:

The Arena Group is seeking a Freelance Commerce Producer to support The Arena Group’s dynamic Commerce team. Our ideal candidate is a quick learner of software, very comfortable working from an editorial calendar, and can quickly build web content in a fast-paced environment.

If hired, you will work with the Commerce team to create articles, product galleries and pages on a daily basis. You would be responsible for supporting production for ad hoc commerce team projects in The Arena Group’s content management system and newsletters. Additionally, you would also be responsible for using internal systems to hardcode, identify and fix broken links, out-of-stock items, as well as text and image formatting revisions. If you have a genuine interest in commerce content, retail products, and e-commerce trends, we’d love to hear from you!

This is a freelance position with competitive hourly rates commensurate with experience. Our expected hourly pay rate range is $25 - $30 USD. Please note: Due to the volume of applications we receive, only applicants selected for consideration will be contacted.

What You’ll Do:

• Build commerce articles, galleries and pages for multiple TAG properties

• Source and edit images for content.

• Update production workflow calendars, production manuals, and process one-sheets

• Update and optimize content

• Work with the Commerce team to identify affiliate link optimizations

• Build and deploy commerce newsletters

What You’ll Bring:

• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills

• A strong attention to detail and ability to handle a large volume of article creation

• Comfort working with CMS; knowledge of Wordpress a plus but not required

• A basic understanding of commerce content and editorial standards preferred

• A self-starter who relishes the opportunity to accelerate the growth of The Arena Group’s commerce business

• Collaborative and team-oriented
