Job description

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Process Incoming Requests from Customers

  • Respond to emails, phone calls and cases to assist customers (i.e. inventory status, order updates, order cancellations, RGAs)

Process Customer PO's

  • Retrieve and process POs via customer portals
  • Review and approve orders received via EDI
  • Manually enter orders received via phone, fax, and email
  • Obtain credit authorization or payment for order approvals
  • Obtain and complete required customer forms for order processing (i.e., will call forms, placards, manifest)
  • Create backorders from partially fulfilled orders
  • Communicate PO exceptions with sales team and customers to ensure proper order processing
  • Update inventory feeds via customer portals to ensure compliance

Back-up Liaise with 3PL Regarding Outbound Logistics

  • Oversee third party warehouses to ensure orders are being processed in as scheduled
  • Ensure warehouses receive open orders scheduled to them
  • Communicate with warehouses daily on order status (i.e., late shipments, rush orders, change request, cancellations, priority orders)
  • Report on assigned KPI’s
  • Report specific issues or disregarded instructions to operations manager
  • Assist with routing, carrier pickups, customer communications and cases to ensure timely shipment pickups
  • Provide documents for outbound order processing (i.e., placards, commercial invoices, shipping manifest, shipping labels and BOLs)


SKILLS & EXPERIENCES:

  • Excellent communication - verbal and written
  • Proficiency in use of computer and CRM programs
  • Ability to present oneself and the company in a professional manner

Education/Experience:

  • Minimum education: high school diploma
  • Working knowledge of MS Office programs
  • Demonstration a reasonable standard of secondary education, particularly in English and Mathematics
  • Experience in order processing and outbound logistics
  • Familiar with EDI/API order transmissions

 

The candidate must be based in the Philippines.

Duty schedule: Mondays to Fridays, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST
