The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Sales, Americas is responsible for leading and scaling the Americas sales organization to drive sustainable revenue growth. As the Americas Leader, you will build and manage a high-performing sales team while deploying a disciplined, metrics-driven approach to pipeline development, prospecting, sales execution, and deal negotiation. You will work closely with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to develop and execute a cohesive go-to-market (GTM) strategy to deliver an unmatched customer experience.

 

The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Sales, Americas leads 2 complementary sales teams: The AE (Account Executive) team responsible for acquiring new logos and the AM (Account Manager) team responsible for protecting and growing the revenue from existing customers. Achieving success on both sides is imperative to drive growth through net new logo acquisition, customer retention, upsell and cross-sell

 

This role requires an experienced, data-driven sales executive with a track record of scaling PE-backed B2B SaaS organizations from $300+ ARR to $600+ ARR while developing high-impact sales teams. The SVP will partner with Marketing, Sales Operations, Customer Success, Professional Services, and Product teams to optimize go-to-market execution and drive new business acquisition, expansion, and retention.

  • Team Leadership & Talent Strategy:
    • Oversee the Americas sales function’s hiring, retention, and development strategy to build a team of high-performing sales professionals. Foster a culture of accountability, inclusivity, and excellence.
  • Market Voice & Thought Leadership:
    • Act as the JAGGAER voice to the market and the market voice to JAGGAER, building relationships with industry leaders, SaaS influencers, and procurement decision-makers.
  • Incentive Compensation Strategy:
    • Design and implement an incentive compensation plan that attracts, retains, and motivates top-tier sales talent.
  • GTM Alignment:
    • Collaborate with the CRO and ELT to develop a cohesive global GTM strategy, ensuring alignment with broader organizational objectives.
  • Territory & Vertical Alignment:
    • Work with leadership to plan, evaluate, and optimize territory assignments within vertical segmentation.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution:
    • Develop and implement a vertically driven sales strategy that ensures growth and achievement of revenue and gross margin targets.
  • Partner Strategy & Expansion:
    • Develop and execute a partner strategy to expand market reach and improve efficiency.
  • Pipeline Management:
    • Build a world-class, repeatable pipeline management process with clear stages, hand-off criteria, and exit metrics to enhance forecasting accuracy and deal recovery.
  • Sales Methodology & Metrics:
    • Deploy a disciplined, metrics-based approach to sales execution, ensuring predictable outcomes and continuous optimization.
  • Customer Engagement & Advocacy:
    • Support key customer relationships, actively participate in sales presentations, negotiations, and industry events to reinforce JAGGAER’s market leadership.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with Marketing, Customer Success, Professional Services, and Product Development to ensure seamless execution and best-in-class customer experience.

  • 15+ years of progressive revenue leadership experience within leading B2B SaaS organizations.
  • Proven Ability to scale revenue
  • Experience leading teams of 40+ quota-carrying sales professionals in a high-growth SaaS environment.
  • PE-backed SaaS experience strongly preferred, with a track record of strategic scaling, operational excellence, and revenue acceleration.
  • Mastery of complex enterprise sales cycles, with expertise in vertical-based selling.
  • Deep understanding of sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, Challenger, Solution Selling) and their application in driving performance.
  • Proven experience leading and optimizing all aspects of Sales Operations.
  • Experience building and managing a multichannel GTM model with clear segmentation and sales motion alignment.
