Payroll Specialist III

We are looking for a Payroll Specialist. You will support the APAC and EMEA regions payroll and its complexities. At its core, this position is focused on supporting our global client service team by assisting with payroll administration and best practices. You will be focused on helping clients navigate payroll challenges in the APAC and EMEA region and eventually expand into other regions.

You will report to the Regional Payroll Manager. This role is fully remote based in the Philippines.

You Will:

• Complete weekly/monthly payroll function for EOR, including employee queries, audits, reporting, and new entity projects.
• Initially focus on the APAC and EMEA regions payroll.
• Coordinate payrolls with vendors and the internal Finance Team.
• Ensure accurate processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, bonuses, and changes to pay rates.
• Prepare inputs for MSPs/ICPs payroll, review outputs, audit results, reasonability checks, and follow payroll calendar.
• Implement SOX controls.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions, entering data into databases and spreadsheets.
• Ensure compliance with current tax requirements by working with MSPs/ICPs and other internal functions like Finance, People, Benefits, and Legal.
• Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
• Work with our HR experience team to resolve employee inquiries on all payroll, expense reporting, and vendor billing inquiries promptly.
• Be responsible for coordinating, enhancing, and furthering our process documentation; ensure uniformity across regions. Following delivery, continue to monitor processes and keep documentation up to date.
• Work with Operations, Finance, and other teams to create successful solutions..
• Handle PI information according to GDPR laws and internal policies.
• Provide support to the account management team on all payroll, expense reporting, and billing matters.
• Establish and maintain competency in the area of international employment, payroll, and PEO (Professional Employment Organization).

You Have:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant payroll experience.
• Knowledge of APAC and EMEA payroll legislation and Year End formalities.
• Experience processing complex payrolls with multiple sources and vendors.
• Excel skills and other software.
• Business English fluency required.
• Experience working in NetSuite or similar ERP.
