We are seeking a talented and experienced Shopify Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating cutting-edge e-commerce solutions and possess a deep understanding of Shopify’s ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
● Team Leadership & Account Ownership: Act as the owner of each account and the team leader of each POD. Efficiently manage internal and external communications.
● Technical Expertise & Support: Serve as the technical reference within the POD, ensuring tasks are adequately estimated and described, enabling developers to execute them effectively.
● Development & Quality Assurance: Architect, develop, and maintain Shopify stores focusing on scalability, performance, and usability. Ensure quality and compliance with standards in all deliveries, coordinating quality reviews and QA efforts.
● Collaboration & Planning: Co-lead weekly planning sessions with EPMs, setting tasks and hours per client. Lead the execution of weekly plans, ensuring all developments, QA, and reviews are clearly assigned and correctly executed.
● Process Improvement & Reporting: Lead monthly retrospectives to evaluate and improve processes. Report progress and task status.
Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
● Proven experience (+4 years) working as a Shopify Developer.
● Proficiency in React, Polaris, JavaScript (including ES6+), CSS, and Liquid.
● Deep understanding of Shopify’s platform, APIs, and architecture.
● Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
● Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
● Experience with code review & release management.
● Advanced English level.
