This role can be remote within the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Supports blue ribbon team requirements such as placing purchase orders (PO’s), expediting and delaying PO’s, and managing supplier returns.
  • Partners with Inventory Analyst to develop inventory strategy for each project and implement system updates and track progress towards targets. Provide weekly updates on status.
  • Supports CEM component shortages for builds
  • Provides clear visibility to material status to support build requirements and ensure schedules are achieved
  • Supports New Product Sourcing in preparing and analyzing RFQ’s
  • Works with engineering to disposition inventory after each phase to ensure accurate inventory visibility and timely removal of obsolete components
  • Sets clear delivery expectations and manages on time delivery adherence and lead-time compliance with suppliers.
  • Ensures weekly forecasts are distributed on a timely basis to suppliers (i.e. open order reports/schedule agreements/contracts).
  • Reduces the number of exception messages and overdue supply elements within the assigned MRP controller code/s grouping of materials.
  • Analyzes and optimizes the SAP material master settings.
  • Participates in developing best practices for the procurement department, which includes developing better and more efficient ways of doing business.
  • Ability to produce KPI's/metrics, data and statistics using SAP, Excel or PowerPoint to reflect root cause analysis and corrective action.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related to the Supply Chain field (i.e. Materials, Logistics, Planning, etc.).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of procurement practices, terms, negotiation concepts, business law (i.e. Uniform Commercial Code-UCC for United States-except for Louisiana) and learns to use professional concepts
  • Able to apply company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues.
  • Able to follow standard instructions, practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data
  • Able to demonstrate strong analytical skills including use of tools such as DMAIC Improvement Cycle, Pareto's and/or fishbone charts.
  • Excellent interpersonal and effective communication skills including ability to influence and negotiate.
  • Able to manage time well, handle and prioritize multiple tasks, and complete them with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Strong organizational skills including change management and project management.
  • Able to use professional concepts and apply company policies/procedures to work on problems/issues of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
  • Able to exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
  • High standards of integrity required.

PAY TRANSPARENCY

Shure offers a competitive compensation structure that is reviewed annually to attract, hire, and retain the industry’s top talent. Base salaries vary based on qualifications, geography, experience, and expertise in each respective discipline. The base salary range for this position is between $53,000 - $107,200. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base salary for this opportunity. If your salary expectations do not align, still apply as we are often flexible on the seniority of posted positions. All positions also include an award-winning benefits package.
