The Director of Data Analytics and Reporting will provide leadership for design and implementation of data strategy and analytics initiatives. This role involves overseeing the collection, analysis, reporting of data for decision-making and strategic planning
Essential Functions
Lead, manage and mentor the data analytics team.
Develop and implement data analytics strategies to support business objectives.
Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of data models, dashboards, and reports.
Establish and maintain data governance frameworks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leaders to identify data-driven opportunities.
Ensure Data Quality and accuracy of data provided to internal and external customers.
Architect usage and oversee analytics tools and technologies.
Stay updated on industry standards and emerging technologies in data analytics.
Lead, coach, motivate and develop. Responsible for one-on-one meetings, performance appraisals, growth opportunities and attracting new talent.
Clearly communicate expectations, provide employees with the training, resources, and information needed to succeed.
Actively engage, coach, counsel and provide timely, and constructive performance feedback.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or a related field or equivalent work experience required.
Experience And Skills
At least 7 years data analytics and reporting experience, demonstrated sustained performance with impact at team(s) or department level required
At least 5 years at a manager level and successful demonstrated leadership competencies
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Proven experience leading data analytics teams
Strong knowledge of data analytics tools and technologies like SQL Server SSIS/SSRS, Domo, Power BI, or any other relevant technologies.
Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with data governance and compliance standards.
Ability to work well with transactional systems and application teams to convert data into usable and reportable formats.
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
