Job Summary: OPSPro specializes in providing small businesses and government contractors with compliance and operational support to include HR, Payroll, Accounting, Contracting, and IT. The Fractional Controller position is a part-time (approx. up to 10hrs/week), fully remote position reporting directly to the CEO.

Assess and improve current processes and accounting methods.
Providing financial insights and analysis to senior management.
Maintain the General Ledger and Chart of Accounts.
Review and monitor accruals and prepayments for proper posting.
Create and post journal entries, including recurring entries.
Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Prepare and review monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
10+ years accounting experience
2+ years month-end/year-end closing experience
Procas experience highly preferred
Experience presenting financials to CEO
Experience with budgeting and forecasting
Payroll experience
Advanced MS Excel capabilities (Pivot tables, V-Lookups, etc.)
