AV Technician- Onsite

Senior SAS  is needed for a REMOTE contract opportunity with our Energy Industry. 


Job Details

Duration: 24 months initial contract
Start date: March 2025  subject to change
Location: Remote
Hourly pay rate:  $70.42-$487.32 hourly
                                                                                                         

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 

• SAS Development
• Support of SAS/Oracle Batch jobs
• Support of SAS/Oracle Ad hoc customers
• As required SAS/Oracle development efforts for the business team
  

CHARACTERISTICS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

• Strong SAS base, macros, Proc SQL and Access to Oracle experience
• Strong understanding of the Oracle database and SQL programming language
• Experience working with formal SDLC and change management tools (e.g. Cherwell, etc.)
• (Sr.) demonstrated ability to support multiple projects concurrently
• (Sr.) experience working with team members to define, document, and develop software

• (Sr.) understanding of SAS/Oracle performance tuning techniques
• Experience developing/debugging complex SAS ETL against the Oracle database
• Experience automating complex processes into streamlined applications

• Strong customer and business focus
• Strong documentation and communications skills
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to produce high quality work products with attention to detail
  

Preferred:
 

• Working knowledge of one of more of the following:       
  • SAS Management Console
  • SAS Metadata Server and Repository
  • Job Scheduling and Load Balancing
  • SAS Enterprise Guide
    

Estimated Min Rate: $70.42
Estimated Max Rate: $87.32
