Role: Senior Financial Accountant
Work Arrangement: Work From Home
Schedule: Morning shift
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Reconciliation
- Perform general ledger (GL) reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
- Prepare and post month-end journals, including accruals, prepayments, and adjustments.
- Maintain accurate payroll journals and ensure timely recording in financial systems.
- Prepare and analyze overhead variance reports, providing insights to management.
Tax Compliance
- Compile and prepare Goods and Services Tax (GST) reports, ensuring compliance with Australian tax regulations.
- Prepare and file Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) reports in a timely and accurate manner.
Expense & Financial Systems Management
- Use Jobpac as the primary ERP system to manage financial data and reporting.
- Utilize SAP Concur for expense management, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with company policies.
Ad Hoc Financial Tasks
- Assist with financial audits by preparing supporting documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Provide financial insights and support as needed for budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Undertake other ad hoc accounting tasks as required to support the finance team.
Qualification and requirements:
Education & Certification
- Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA)/CA qualification is mandatory.
Experience
- At least 5+ years of relevant experience in financial accounting.
- Prior experience working with Australian financial systems and regulations is essential.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Jobpac ERP system or similar software for financial management.
- Experience using SAP Concur for expense management.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis tools.

- Ability to analyze financial data and communicate findings effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and initiative.
