Job description

Labster is seeking a Director of Growth Marketing to play an essential role in leading our company’s growth through new account acquisition and customer expansion. The Director oversees demand generation and growth for our core geographic markets with emphasis on North America, supporting the higher education and healthcare sectors. Reporting to the CMO, this person partners closely with sales leadership, revenue operations, customer success, and other cross-functional teams. This leader supports our goals by successfully developing, leading, and executing demand generation programs, ABM, and field marketing initiatives across a range of channels with a focus on full-funnel performance, generating qualified leads, accelerating sales pipeline, and delivering on our revenue targets. This person must have expert knowledge of marketing automation, sales funnel structure and optimization, and marketing data governance.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive demand generation strategies to drive acquisition, conversion, and retention across paid, owned, and earned channels, including but not limited to digital advertising, content marketing, SEO, SEM, social media, and events (live and virtual).

  • Be an expert in utilizing data analytics and key performance metrics (KPIs) to measure campaign effectiveness, guide the channel mix, identify optimization opportunities, and make data-driven decisions to achieve growth targets.

  • Manage demand generation and nurturing campaigns utilizing Marketo, optimizing campaigns toward maximized ROI, engagement and qualified lead generation.

  • Coach, manage and lead a Manager of ABM and Field Marketing in the pursuit of growth goals

  • Lead the development and launch of a new Account Based Marketing (ABM) pilot program that establishes personalized communications that deepen engagement with high-potential targets.

  • Oversee field marketing programs such as regionalized events and executive roundtables that deliver direct interactions and experiences with our immersive technology.

  • Collaborate with our corporate communications and creative experts in the planning and execution of events, messaging, content, and creative to support growth campaigns.

  • Develop and support customer marketing initiatives, crafting and executing growth strategies focused on customer expansion.

  • Regularly and consistently communicate performance metrics, successes, learnings, and refinement areas to company leadership.

Candidate profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field

  • 8 to 10 years of experience in B2B growth marketing with at least 5 years in a growth-oriented role, running multi-channel and multi-segment campaigns, with a focus on demand generation.

  • Experience marketing for education, education technology, nursing, healthcare, medical or related products.

  • In-depth experience with marketing automation (specifically Marketo) and CRM (Salesforce), including creating campaigns, lead management, reporting dashboards, as well as setting up marketing programs and nurture streams.

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and platforms to measure campaign performance and identify optimization opportunities.

  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

  • Direct experience in supporting a scale-up tech or SaaS company.

  • Highly self-sufficient with a high degree of accountability and ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and projects.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Results-oriented mindset with strong business acumen

  • Willingness to travel about 15% of the time to events and team meetings, primarily in the U.S.
