Video Editor (ZR_20364_JOB)

Job Highlights:

Contract: Independent Contractor
Schedule:40 hours a week, Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm EST with 1 hour unpaid break (8 paid hours per day)

We’re seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our client’s podcast production team. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in shaping the visual identity of a major personal development podcast. You’ll work on a variety of exciting projects, from editing full-length episodes to creating engaging short-form content that captivates audiences across platforms. This position offers a unique opportunity to showcase your skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, color grading, and audio adjustment while contributing to the growth of a top-ranked podcast. Responsibilities

• Craft compelling full-length video podcasts for both interview-style and solo host episodes, ensuring a polished and professional final product
  
• Design and create eye-catching highlight reels and “hook” segments to grab viewer attention, incorporating animations, graphics, and sound effects
  
• Seamlessly integrate sponsored content and call-to-action segments into episodes, maintaining the flow and quality of the content
  
• Transform long-form episodes into 2-3 pieces of engaging short-form content, optimized for various social media platforms
  
• Apply your expertise in color grading and audio adjustments to enhance the overall quality and consistency of the podcast
  
• Collaborate closely with the content team to develop new concepts and maintain brand consistency across all video content
  
• Manage and organize audio and video files efficiently, ensuring smooth workflow and quick turnaround times
  
• Stay up-to-date with current trends in video editing and content creation, bringing fresh ideas to the table
  

Requirements

• Proven proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, with a strong portfolio showcasing your video editing skills
  
• Expert-level abilities in color grading, audio adjustment, and creating graphics/animations for video content
  
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in video editing, preferably with podcast or long-form content
  
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines without compromising on quality
  
• Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for visual esthetics
  
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  
• Familiarity with current trends in video editing, content creation, and social media platforms
  
• Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and editing techniques
  
• A passion for personal development content and an understanding of the podcasting industry is a plus
  
• Access to a high-performance computer (minimum 16GB RAM, preferably 32GB) for smooth editing processes
  
• Proven proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects with a strong portfolio showcasing your video editing skills (APPLICANTS MUST SUBMIT PORTFOLIOS)
