We’re seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to establish and grow Whalebone’s business within the US and Canada. Reporting directly to the VP of Aura Global Sales, this role involves building new partnerships with major telcos, developing a regional sales strategy, and achieving fast growth in a new market. You will be instrumental in driving our presence from the ground up, with significant opportunities for career advancement as the team expands.
Identify, engage, and manage relationships with key telecom, ISP, and enterprise clients in the US & Canada.
Develop and execute strategic sales initiatives to expand our market presence.
Work closely with the marketing and product teams to align solutions with customer needs.
Conduct presentations, demos, and negotiations with potential partners and clients.
Stay ahead of industry trends, competition, and regulatory changes in the region.
Success Metrics
Achieve target pipeline growth and qualified telco partnerships within the first year.
Establish a robust and functioning business development strategy for the region.
Attain or exceed set KPIs for closed deals and strategic objectives.
