Job Description:

The Medicare Secondary Payer Systems Contractor (MSPSC) is a component of the Coordination of Benefits and Recovery Program (COB&R). COB&R governs the pre and post pay Medicare claims processing and recovery of errant/conditional Medicare primary payments. The MSPSC is responsible for all PMLC and SDLC phases of the development life cycle in support of the Coordination of Benefits and Recovery Program (COB&R) for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid program (CMS).  The program is comprised of applications which are housed under multiple platforms from mainframe, Windows, customized COTS products, mid-tier/web and in some cases a combination of environments.

The Quality Analyst Senior develops and performs automated performance and load test of multiple software/systems using JMeter and Performance Center tools (LoadRunner, VUGen, Analyzer).

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT: 

  • Reviews and evaluates software products and systems to ensure adherence to company and customer quality standards.
  • Create automated load test scripts to be used for Release specific and Regression load tests of MSPSC systems.
  • Develops and implements software/systems load testing standards and procedures, and conducts performance testing.
  • Provides guidance and work leadership to Quality Assurance personnel, and may have supervisory responsibilities.
  • Prepares load test data to satisfy test scenarios.
  • Creates and presents load test report with DevOps, AWS, Development and other technical teams.
  • Maintains/gains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Computer Science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience creating JMeter, VUGen performance test scripts and performing test execution on AWS systems and on Performance Center.
  • 5+ years of experience with Micro Focus Performance test tools; including Virtual User Generator (VuGen), LoadRunner Suite, and Performance Center. Knowledge of JMeter, cloud based platforms and automation testing is highly desirable. These include DLTA (Distributed Load Testing on AWS), and JMeter.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures used in load testing of UI Applications.
  • Proficiency in script recording, correlation using JMeter and VUGen.
  • Knowledge of cloud based platforms and load testing; DLTA (Distributed Load Testing on AWS), and JMeter.
  • Knowledge of Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) applications.
  • Proven ability to handle simultaneous assignments.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other testers and developers.

The likely salary range for this position is $85,000 - $115,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
