Who We're Looking For

The Human Resources Shared Services (HRSS) Team supports the organization and the Human resources team by serving as the subject matter experts for employee life cycle processes, procedures, and data management. The Sr HR Shared Services Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire HR Shared Services function that will deliver core HR transactional services such as employee data management, onboarding, compliance, organizational change management, and internal program management.

This roll will ensure efficient operations, compliance, and high-quality service delivery to internal customers across the company while leading process improvement initiatives.

  • Direct Reports: This is a management role with direct reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a shared services model into the HR function which includes reviewing and redesigning transactional HR processes using lean principles.
  • Contribute to the development of the overall HR Shared Services strategy, aligning with the organization's business objectives, and identifying future needs. 
  • Develop and foster solid working relationships with various teams including Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Total Rewards, HR Business Partners, Payroll, and HR Technology to ensure smooth and seamless experiences for employees throughout the employee life cycle from pre-hire to termination.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners, line managers, and other departments to understand their HR needs, address concerns, and deliver effective HR services. 
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the HR Shared Services center, ensuring accurate and timely processing of HR transactions, maintaining data integrity, and adhering to service level agreements. 
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve HR processes, implementing new technologies and automation to increase efficiency and reduce costs. 
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant employment laws, regulations, and company policies related to HR data management and employee records. 
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of HR Shared Services operations, identifying areas for improvement and providing actionable insights to leadership. 
  • Manage a team of HR Shared Services professionals and provide coaching, performance feedback, and career development opportunities. 

Experience, Education, and Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field or experience in lieu of degree. 
  • 10+ years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a shared services role, preferably at a management level.

Additional Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Experience managing a team and leading through change management
  • Demonstrated, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with others. 
  • Proven collaborator with the ability to rally multiple resources to accomplish goals. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Power Point, Word, and Excel
