As part of our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of financial accounting and reporting, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager Accounts Payable to join our growing team.


Job Summary:

You will lead the Accounts Payable functions for Lineage Benelux and United Kingdom. The AP function for Benelux is spread between Rotterdam and Vlissingen offices; the UK team is based in Manchester.

There is an opportunity to work from home for one or two days a week. When you are in the office you will mostly work from our Heywood office.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all supplier invoices are processed in the financial system in a timely and correct manner

  • All bank transactions are processed timely and accurately in the financial system

  • Execution of all outgoing payments including periodic payments to suppliers and authorities

  • Maintain high quality of Vendor Master Data

  • Intercompany reconciliation of AP positions with counter parts

  • Develop clear set of KPI’s supporting key objective timely payment of suppliers (Drive continuous improvement)

  • Pro-actively managing the role to accounting (expense category rationalization in order to standardize use expense category for similar activities)

  • Pro-actively supporting the EMEA procurement team in the P2P process (implementation PO’s)

  • Rolling out AppZen in EMEA region

  • Create playbook which allows us to add new volume to the AP department timely and in a controlled way (existing sub regions and new acquisitions)

  • Experience with integrating AP activities in P2P process

  • Experience with optimization projects in AP

  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in P2P processes and Accounts Payable

  • Natural ability to work collaboratively in an international and multi-cultural environment

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation

  • The ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment experiencing rapid growth and change

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbally. Dutch would be a plus
