We are seeking a dynamic Product Marketing Manager to join our team to lead our marketing strategy around targeting specific industry business and technology use cases. This role is essential in shaping the positioning, messaging, and overall go-to-market strategy targeting key industries who are leveraging Big Data analytics and AI to drive business outcomes. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our product solutions meet the market needs and exceed customer expectations. You will contribute to thought leadership, solution/product launches, and produce the content necessary for the VAST field organization and partners to drive opportunities. You should be customer obsessed, have a bias for action, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

THE ROLE



  • Conduct research to identify and document business and technology drivers in industries leveraging Big Data and AI to drive core business outcomes. 
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to verticalize core messaging to showcase unique value proposition for specific industry use cases.
  • Own the development of creative and compelling content, including product documentation, videos, webinars, presentations, FAQs, sales sheets, and blog posts
  • Evangelize product/solution value proposition with key customers and partners
  • Build product narratives and outbound messaging, partner with copywriters to bring messaging to life
  • Partner with customer references team to cultivate, define, develop customer stories and value testimonials
  • Drive customer research to deepen understanding of user base and how to reach the target audience
  • Define targets KPIs and monitor, analyze, and report against them.

Requirements

Requirements

  • 3+ years of product or solution marketing or similar experience
  • Experience with enterprise customers in industries such as life sciences, financial services, cloud service providers, Media & Entertainment, Higher Ed/Gvt research, automotive, energy, etc.
  • Excellent written and oral communication/presentation skills including ability to create and deliver effective presentations.
  • Ability to build end-to-end plans and manage execution across cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborative – comfortable and motivated working in a collaborative environment, with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Experience defining and executing marketing programs and campaigns.
  • Capable of understanding and communicating to technical and business audiences
  • Ability to travel for industry conferences, customer visits, team offsites, and partner and sales meetings

 

NICE TO HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Marketing, or related discipline
  • Background / working knowledge of key market trends in AI/ML and the emerging technologies around Generative AI with ability to attenuate value proposition and content to match relevant customer values and concerns.
  • MBA is not required, but preferred.
