PMO Analyst
Hours: Full Time – 37.5 hours per week
Location: Work from home with occasional travel into Bedford/London Head Offices and Hospital Sites
The purpose of the PMO Analyst is to support the Digital PMO Manger and Digital Project Managers and their teams in delivery. To include co-ordination of meetings, reporting, analysis, as well as supporting the PMO Manager in the delivery of PMO initiatives. Current requirements are to provide support in the Digital Transformation Programme.
The PMO Analyst will provide project management support to help coordinate priority projects across the business, including reporting on RAID, finances, resourcing, deliverables and change requests to ensure the consistent delivery of project objectives.
Ramsay use the PPM tool KeyedIn and the PMO Analyst will work with Project Managers/ Leads to ensure all project data is held, maintained, and updated in the PPM tool (KeyedIn). The role will utilise the reporting functionality to drive insights that become corrective actions or priorities for the business. In addition, the data held within the tool is used to report progress up to the Ramsay Executive, Portfolio and Programme Boards and Global Headquarters.
The PMO Analyst will work within the Digital PMO using established processes, templates and toolsets and, within time, will help to improve and develop new ones.
What you will do:
Providing PMO support and guidance to Project Managers/Leads, to include establishing and tracking of key deliverables, finances, resource plans and RAID logs where appropriate, and ensure timely submission & quality assurance of monthly Executive status reports
Perform Project Assurance activities from data held in KeyedIn including health checks on priority projects
Work alongside Project Managers/Leads to maintain a Project Delivery Framework, including RACI, processes, and templates (linking to the central PMO and Global where required)
Track trends from the Project Health checks, identifying areas for improvement
Ad-hoc PMO responsibilities, as and when required
Qualifications:
2 x A’Levels/ NVQ equivalent or 3+ Year experience in a PMO role
What you will bring:
Data analysis
Experience of working within a PMO in a large organisation, with multiple priorities
Experience working with a PPM, preferably KeyedIn
Experience of independent and/or remote working, using different platforms to communicate (Teams, email, video call etc)
Experience of working within teams of differing abilities, job roles and locations
Experienced in the use of MS 365 to an advanced level including: MS Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
In-depth knowledge of the project life cycle and change management practices
Experience of supporting the reporting of change at a project level
Possess great attention to detail and recognised for ‘getting it right first time’
Self-motivated
Excellent organisational and time keeping skills
Exceptional communication skills, ability to communicate with people professionally; able to articulate or convey complex data well
Able to withstand challenges; resilient with a focus on wanting to see problems resolved quickly and with people engaged with the way forward
Experience of working within a healthcare setting would be advantageous
