The Online Instructor teaches students the Associate of Radiography students to help them achieve course and program objectives. Online Instructors must hold a Master’s degree, applicable licensure and demonstrate competency in Radiologic Sciences subjects. This may include subject mastery of positioning; digital imaging systems; image processing; advanced imaging and special procedures; radiation oncology; and human sectional anatomy.
Essential Functions
Provide feedback to students on assignments and additional assistance to those having difficulty with course content.
Prepare and report final grades at the end of each course.
Actively assist with retention efforts by contacting students who are not actively engaged in courses by phone or email.
Actively assist with ARRT exam participation and pass rates by contacting graduates and offering to tutor
Advise students regarding academic progress and course participation
Participate in continuing education (in-service and professional development) and remain current with professional trends and advances in technology.
Work with program leadership to implement program goals.
Assist program leadership with curriculum reviews and updates.
Attend program advisory board meetings and attend and participate in faculty meetings.

Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree, from a nationally recognized and accrediting certifying agency may qualify based on appropriate qualifications.
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
Must hold current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration in Radiologic Sciences, or equivalent (i.e., unrestricted state license for the state in which the program is located), and teaching licenses, certifications or other designations as required by local, state or federal laws to work in the field.
15 semester credit hours in the content area
Three (3) years of full-time clinical experience as a registered radiologic technologist.
Experience with course management systems such as Blackboard is preferred.
Experience with online instruction preferred.
Knowledge of Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, video-conferencing, and other computer/internet applications.
Verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits
Hiring Range: $25.62-$32.03 per hour
