Job Summary
Drives keys marketing programs and campaigns that communicate the value of digital platforms for ordering, drive buy-side registrations to eCommerce platforms, increase utilization and transaction volume, and promote supplier programs to buyers across our vast network. Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including product, customer success, and other marketing sub-functions to align ecosystem marketing initiatives with business objectives. Drives engagement, increases transactions, and supports the growth of OEC’s supplier and buyer ecosystem on its core platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Plans, develops, and executes multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive buyer registrations onto core ecommerce platforms.
- Develops content and messaging that clearly articulates the value proposition of our eCommerce platforms for buyers.
- Develops nurtures and tech-touch workflows that encourage buyer adoption, engagement, and increased transaction volume across our eCommerce platforms.
- Monitors and analyzes key metrics such as buyer registrations, transaction growth, user engagement, and platform adoption. Uses data-driven insights to refine and optimize ongoing marketing efforts for better results.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams including Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to understand buying behavior and develop marketing and enablement materials like case studies that communicate the value of the platform to prospective buyers.
- Stays informed of industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape in the automotive eCommerce space.
Education
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required, with a focus in Marketing or related discipline. In the absence of a degree, equivalent work experience directly related to the key responsibilities of the role will be considered as a substitute for the degree.
Experience
At least 6 years of marketing experience is required, with a proven background in successfully executing marketing campaigns across multiple channels (email, in-application, digital, content, social media, etc.) and experience with marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics).
Must also be able to demonstrate the following skills and abilities:
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment with a focus on achieving high-quality results.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to track, measure, and report on the effectiveness of marketing programs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences.
- Can effectively organize and manage day-to-day work and priorities, and use time, energy and resources to meet goals, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Able to communicate in a respectful, positive and constructive manner, even during times of challenge and frustration.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work and can easily adjust to shifts in priorities as the needs of the business change.
- Able to effectively work and thrive in a remote/hybrid work environment that has limited opportunities for in-person interactions.
Special Position Requirements
- Some work-related travel may be expected. Will not exceed 10% of work time.
- Able to adjust and flex work hours as needed, to accommodate working across time zones.
