Job Summary
This position is responsible for delivering digital transformation by applying structured process optimization and re-engineering practices. The Digital Process Orchestration Specialist brings a clear and systematic way of linking business value opportunities to tangible execution, delivery, and results. They also leverage data-driven facts to identify, quantify, and provide a clear representation of the current state and potential for optimized future-state business processes.
Drive Process Optimization and Re-engineering methodology and approach from planning through execution, delivery, and monitoring. The role collaborates with business process owners, technology partners, and other Enterprise stakeholders to fully understand the business value, process functionality, and process/stakeholders’ journey and identifies potential gaps and opportunities. This role shapes the user experience for a growing portfolio of highly visible internal and external digital platforms and helps build and develop the Digital Solution team's knowledge and skill set through leading practices across process orchestration and optimization.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for analysis, assessment, and design/redesign of business / operational processes across Healthcare Payer domains (Claims, Membership, Provider Networking, Finance, HR, IT, etc.).
- Identifies current-state baselines, and designs future-state metrics to drive optimal business outcomes.
- Leverages expertise across the healthcare domain to define the future state and drive execution through delivery teams while ensuring successful implementation and delivery.
- Collaborates with business/functional/technical stakeholders to understand business needs, processes, business drivers, and business strategy, identifies and communicates resulting needs and opportunities for business process improvement that can be enabled via process re-engineering or technology; aligns with solution delivery team to ensure the execution and implementation of desired capabilities leveraging leading-edge digital technology platforms and solutions.
- Conduct capability demonstrations. Through data-driven insights, make recommendations regarding the defined approach to achieving process improvement objectives. Facilitate assessment workshops to ensure full impact analysis.
- Champions change and innovation. Acts as a change agent and influences stakeholders on leading practices, technology trends, etc. to deliver optimal outcomes to improve the value stream.
- Understand the corporation's vision, goals, and strategies to maximize value stream delivery.
- Responsible for user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design of various digital assets/solutions.
- Ensure all elements of the user experience are optimized for improved usability, usefulness, and exceptional visual design.
- Design and develop high-quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes.
- Deliver consistent UX for users to increase digital solutions/platform adoption and productivity.
- Combine UX thinking with design execution and produce usable and intuitive user interfaces.
- Evolve and refine the design, ensuring visual cohesion and engineering efficiency across all user touchpoints.
- Develop detailed and accurate Business Requirements Documents and Functional Requirements across SDLC methodologies (Agile/Waterfall etc.,).
- Create low code technology differentiation across Digital Solutions for the Enterprise with an emphasis on healthcare business domains and automation.
- Develop strategic content and demo proof points with low code platform context.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology or Business.
- 5+ years of working experience in creating and implementing process mapping, redesign, and orchestration within the Healthcare domain (Medicaid/Medicare preferred) or experience with strategy/management consulting in life sciences preferred.
- Proficient with process mapping and visual design programs such as MS Visio, Figjam, Sketch, Invision, and Adobe Suite.
- Six Sigma, Lean Sigma experience – preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize data for the best possible outcome.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple milestones and projects efficiently.
- Professional written and interpersonal skills.
- Continued education and research into process optimization trends and current design strategy and technology.
