Position Summary
The Value and Clinical Excellence (VCE) and Families as Partners (FAP) Coordinator acts as a central resource to enhance collaborations and partnerships with patients, families, and employees throughout Children's Minnesota. The VCE and FAP Coordinator is responsible to conduct, coordinate and monitor activities and initiatives within the VCE department and responsible for the organization of services and systems necessary to incorporate patient and family voice into decision making at Children's Minnesota and to connect work to impact. Assumes day to day responsibility and oversight for the operations and continuous improvement of the Families as Partners program.

Education:
- Associate's degree required
- Healthcare related degree preferred
Experience:
- Professional experience in health care related field preferred
- Professional experience in health care quality domains preferred
- Experience leading projects and/or programs required
- Knowledge of continuous improvement principles and methodologies required
- Experience in training or educating staff/volunteers/interns/families preferred
- Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams required
- Experience working with families in a medical setting is required, pediatrics preferred
- Experience speaking to groups, leading special events and/or coordinating events preferred
- Experience and/or training in equity and inclusion work preferred
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
This position exists to coordinate and execute efforts across the VCE department and provide program development and evaluation, direction, management and program promotion for the Families as Partners Program thus facilitating input from our patient families to help make the Children's Minnesota care experience better.

The posted salary represents a market competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. When determining individual pay rates, we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, internal equity and organizational needs.
In addition to your salary, this position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night, weekend or on-call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
