We are looking for a Retail & E-commerce Accountant to join our finance team and support the accounting processes related to our multi-channel sales model. This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance across online sales (DTC/e-commerce), physical retail stores, and partner distribution channels.

RETAIL & E-COMMERCE ACCOUNTANT - REMOTE

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and reconcile financial transactions across e-commerce platforms, retail stores, and partner sales.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of revenue, costs, and financial data related to multi-channel sales operations.
• Manage payment reconciliations from various providers, including credit cards, PayPal, digital wallets, and in-store transactions.
• Review and enhance existing process, implementing best practices from an accounting perspective.
• Establish SOX-compliant controls for new process streams.
• Participation in S4 Hana implementation and new payment method integrations.
• Work closely with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to align financial processes with business operations.
• Monitor and analyze financial data related to promotions, discounts, and returns.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in accounting (in retail, e-commerce, or multi-channel sales).
• Understanding of DTC process (E-Commerce & Retail)
• Knowledge of SAP
• Demonstrated ability to lead or participate in cross-functional projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to identify and implement process improvements and best practices.
• Fluent English
