Job Description
The Title Resolution Specialist is responsible for securing all necessary documents for vehicle title ownership transfer outside the standard process. This includes, but is not limited to title problem files and aging inventory. Tasks include investigating title delay by obtaining transferable documents, identifying solutions, and administering appropriate processes, resulting in compliant sale documents. Communication with customers and vehicle owners, resolving problems and discrepancies, answering inbound phone calls, sending emails, and providing excellent customer service are also required. Compliance with state and/or buyer requirements is essential.
Responsibilities
Researches missing and/or incorrect title paperwork and determine proper resolve in a timely manner
Provides a variety of customer support services through the mail, email, telephone and direct personal contact
Reviews and enters in title work for all customers
Completes assigned specialized inventory reduction tasks for customers and provides regular updates to sales and account management
Working with title center leadership to identify areas of opportunity and process improvement
Communicates with customers via email or verbally to handle title issues daily and prepares bi-weekly inventory analysis for providers and management
Completes application to transfer title ownership
Record information from titles received from the state into the IAA operating system
Stays current with title/salvage laws in multiple states
Responds to customer questions, complaints and requests
Resolves problems encountered in the effort to transfer title ownership
Performs word processing assignments, filing and related clerical duties
Follows well-established procedures and under close direction of supervisor
Assists with other office functions as needed
Immediately reports all violations of company policy to a supervisor or manager
Protects and preserves confidential, personal customer information received and adheres to state and company records retention policies and procedures
Ability to research and prioritize projects
Will be required to send out daily correspondence by FedEx or USPS
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
1-2 years State/National title processing experience
2-3 Years Previous knowledge in title and salvage title requirements
Maintaining customer databases
Proficient in MS Office Suite; Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
