As a Principal Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for technical and business aspects of the firm and may provide expert technical input and/or oversight on large, complex water resources projects. Expertise is required in dam and levee design/analysis, performance of dam safety studies and inspections, leadership and project management of technical project teams, and development of new client and project opportunities. This position also includes general civil engineering design and analysis on dam facilities including pump stations, gated and ungated water control structures, diversion dams, spillways, headworks, canals, flumes, and siphons. Expertise related to civil and structural engineering, dam and levee design, project management, and leading project teams is required.
Gannett Fleming’s specialists have the in-depth knowledge to excel on the most challenging water resource projects across the country. We provide innovative solutions for dams, levees, reservoirs, spillways, pump stations, and water control structures. We have completed more than 1,000 water resource projects across the U.S. – from small-scale projects to large, complex dams, spillways, and gated water control structures.
This position can be based anywhere in the United States and can be 100% remote.

Core Business Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Employment Status: Full-Time
Salary Range: $145,000 - $165,000
Salary dependent upon experience and geographic location
