Position Summary:

 

We have an immediate opening for a full-time Senior Associate, Indirect Procurement for our client in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. This will be an onsite role, no less than four (4) days per week.. You will be a key member of our Client Services team that manages a large portion of our client’s procurement operations surrounding procure-to-pay process optimization. The team currently consists of four associates, located onsite and remote working. This position will report to the Managing Director, Sourcing & Procurement.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for management and spend governance through LSI OneMarket modules & SAP
  • Develop end-to-end process workflows aimed at improving the procure-to-pay processes
  • Monitoring, evaluating and providing feedback to Managing Director on buyer performance
  • Mentors, leads, trains, and provides guidance to Procurement Operations Team
  • Train buyers on updated system practices and enhancements as they come out
  • Ensure Purchasing processes are implemented, followed and adhered to
  • Leading elimination and consolidation efforts of rogue vendors
  • Collaborate closely with key client stakeholders to identify and implement process improvement opportunities
  • Able to develop certain reporting on vendor spend and management across the Indirect Procurement Team.
  • Develops departmental communications; maintains and updates departmental files, and databases; contributes to supports departmental initiatives.
  • Manages minor sourcing initiatives
  • Liaison to upper LSI and TBC management on projects and initiatives of the buy-desk

 

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Prior experience in Procurement and familiarity with the procure-to-pay process is required
  • 4-6 years project management, analytics, and/or accounts payable experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office; knowledge of SAP highly preferred
  • Experience with Smartsheet is preferred
  • Ability to excel in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment that requires a fast learner and flexible thinker
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects with different deadlines with strong attention to detail
  • Desire and ability to take full ownership of projects and produce high quality work
  • Strong work ethic with excellent organization, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong team player; able to interact with all levels of management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Travel:

 

This position requires no travel aside from travel necessary to and from the office.
