Job description

cBEYONData is seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to join our team in support of a multi-year SAP S/4 HANA modernization effort for a Federal client. The focus across the broader program includes IT transformation, leveraging subject matter experts to transform business processes, requirements development, change management and human-centered design, among other IT modernization programmatic activities. The Governance – Fielding Support will support the Governance Lead in driving all functional fielding activities coordinating across the project teams and with PMO/System Integrator (e.g., assessing, driving and monitoring go live readiness, planning, post go live after deployment (monitoring hypercare) support, overall user engagement). Specifically, the fielding team/individual will play a crucial role in the client's initiative, acting as the liaison between field operations and the ERP implementation team. This position requires an understanding of military protocol/operations and processes, ensuring that the new ERP system aligns with mission objectives and enhances overall efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive fielding efforts between the implementation teams (e.g., Integrator and Functional) to progress overall implementation activities
  • Support and advocate functional community components and activities throughout fielding life cycle, including initial definition through activating users
  • Collaborate with stakeholder representatives across military units to identify challenges and opportunities
  • Provide expertise, advice, support execution over fielding activities (planning/designing, coordinating, and executing) to improve operations and team efficiency
  • Coordinate with business process SME’s as needed to support field activities and address transition challenges with legacy processes, workflows, and fielding activities
  • Coordinates fielding efforts in conjunction with overarching governance activities (i.e., ensuring proper alignment of initiatives across stakeholders, governance and operations)
  • Coordinate periodic status of fielding activities among major implementation stakeholders
  • Monitor and report on the progress of ERP implementation, addressing any field-related concerns that arise during the transition.
  • Support change management efforts by working with appropriate teams for communicating updates and helping to drive buy-in from end-users for planned/unplanned activities (e.g., newsletters, in person site visits, ad-hoc communications)
  • Support gap identification and tracking within the overall implementation governance

Requirements:

  • Security Clearance Active DoD Secret security clearance required
  • Education: Bachelor's degree 
  • Experience supporting fielding efforts in a technology environment, strongly preferred
    • Experience supporting ERP systems implementations (SAP, Oracle, and/or Peoplesoft or similar integrated technology solutions)
    • Experience supporting Department of Defense Clients (Army preferred)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working with diverse teams and influencing senior management
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment

Preferred:

  • Previous military experience, with a strong understanding of Army operations and logistics.
  • Experience with large-scale government ERP implementations
  • Experience facilitating collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Experience working remotely within a large project
  • Familiarity with Agile principles and/or development projects
  • Experience with Federal financials and logistics processes
  • Supporting fielding operations for DoD clients
