Job description

David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a multinational financial services company that is seeking to onboard a Business Development Director - Crypto to join their team.  


Position:  Business Development Director - Crypto

Location: Remote from Cyprus / Serbia / Estonia / Lithuania / Ukraine / Kazakhstan / Uzbekistan OR option of office based work if based in Cyprus

Work model: remote OR on site

Employment type: Services Agreement if based out of Cyprus

Remuneration: Base salary quarterly Bonuses, depending on experience.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create and implement a strategic plan for launching and growing the business.
  • Oversee sales, marketing, and business development initiatives to drive revenue.
  • Manage financial planning, budgeting, and profit and loss (P&L) responsibilities.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team across various departments.
  • Define and execute go-to-market strategies for new products or services.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and manage risk within operations.
  • Identify and cultivate partnerships to enhance market expansion.
  • Track industry trends and competitor activities to foster innovation and maintain a competitive edge.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Native or fluent in English (C1 level), with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication. 
  • Fluency in Russian (C1) is preferred, but we are open to candidates with other language skills.
  • Degree in Business Management, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development, product management, or leadership roles in relevant industries.
  • Solid understanding of market trends, industry dynamics, and regulatory environments.
  • Previous experience in cryptocurrency operations.
  • Experience managing P&L, budgeting, and driving revenue growth.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and oversee business operations.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on achieving results.
