Front-end Team Lead

We're on the lookout for a results-driven and experienced Front-End professional ready to step into a Team Lead role and thrive in a fast-paced gaming environment.

Requirements:

Leadership Experience:

• Proven experience as a Front-End Team Lead or Senior Front-End Developer with leadership responsibilities.

Technical Expertise:

• Advanced proficiency in TypeScript for developing scalable and maintainable front-end solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience with PixiJS8 for interactive game rendering.
• In-depth knowledge of Spine animations for character and object movements.
• Expertise in HTML&CSS, with a solid grasp of responsive and accessible design principles.
• Skilled in using GSAP for complex animation control.
• Familiarity with Jira for task tracking and NPM for dependency management.
• Strong version control experience with Git, following best practices like Conventional Commits.

Industry Knowledge:

• Previous experience in the gambling or gaming industry, particularly working on slot, card, table, or crash games, is a strong advantage.

Preferred Skills:

• Basic understanding of back-end technologies to enhance collaboration with other teams.
• A portfolio showcasing interactive gaming or gambling projects.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• A collaborative and innovative mindset, with a passion for continuous learning.

Languages proficiency:

• Fluent/native level of Ukrainian/Russian languages.
• Intermediate level of English.

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Management:

• Guide, mentor, and support a team of front-end developers, promoting professional growth and high performance.
• Conduct regular code reviews, set clear goals, and uphold best coding practices.
• Foster a culture of innovation, teamwork, and knowledge sharing.

Project Management:

• Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of game development projects using Jira.
• Work closely with designers, animators, audio engineers, back-end developers, and QA teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Provide regular updates on project progress, potential roadblocks, and solutions to key stakeholders.

Technical Leadership:

• Architect and develop high-performance, responsive gaming solutions for modern web platforms.
• Utilize PixiJS8 for rendering complex game graphics and animations.
• Implement Spine and GSAP to create smooth, immersive animations and interactive elements.
• Ensure optimal performance, usability, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Manage dependencies and build processes efficiently using NPM.
• Maintain structured version control practices with Git, ensuring clear and meaningful commit history.
