QA Analyst II

As a QA Analyst II, on the Vimeo US-QA team, you will explore the functionality of the Vimeo Application,  contribute to test strategy, evaluate Products and become an expert Analyst of Vimeo components. You will work within multiple-contexts and collaborate with other Quality Analysts, Automation Engineers, Product Leads, and Software Engineers. The ideal candidate will be a critical thinker, and great communicator, with passion for discovery and learning, as we deliver high-quality Video software products to production. 

What you'll do:

• Contribute to Test Strategy, setup and testing across various Vimeo Products
• Run diagnostics and report discoveries to the Engineering team
• Collaborate with various Quality Analysts and Engineers, and become a skilled tester
• Contribute to the Product from a Technical Perspective as well as User Experience
• Organize Test Matrices, documentation, and advocate for internal/external Testing Tools

Skills and knowledge you should possess: 

• Software Testing Experience (3+ years) and strong interest in testing Software Applications
• Comprehension or openness to learn various types of testing, including Exploratory, Context-Driven, and Regression Testing
• Good communication skills and ability to capture and provide supporting data
• Comfortable collaborating with other Testers, Software Engineers, and Product leads
• Experience with Testing Tools such as Developer Tools, Custom Test Pages, and Cloud Test Applications
• Experience with modern Operating Platforms and Browsers
• Ability to recognize and run diagnostics on Functional and Visual issues
• Creative thinking to optimize test approach and efficiency

Base Salary Range:

• NYC Metro, Bay Area, Seattle, & Los Angeles:    $62,000 - $86,000
• All other US cities outside above metro areas:   $55,800 - $77,400
