Job Overview

TIG Risk Services is a distinguished national investigative firm headquartered in Destin, Florida, with over 23 years of service to the insurance, government, and legal sectors. We are currently seeking a licensed Private Investigator in the Chico area to conduct meticulous surveillance and investigative work related to worker’s compensation, auto liability, general liability, and both long and short-term disability claims. This position offers a competitive starting pay of $40+/hr, alongside opportunities for career advancement.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct surveillance for various claims, ensuring thorough documentation of findings.
Perform activity checks and background investigations as required.
Take statements and conduct scene inspections to support investigations.
Report results clearly and accurately, demonstrating strong attention to detail.

Required Skills

A minimum of two years of surveillance experience, with a focus on SIU-related functions preferred.
Exceptional report writing and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in performing stationary and mobile surveillance in diverse environments, including high-risk areas.
Comfort with pretext investigations is essential.
An active Private Investigator License in California is mandatory.

Qualifications

At least two years of experience in surveillance and investigations is required.
Previous experience in the insurance or legal sectors is advantageous.
Strong analytical and observational skills are crucial for success in this role.
