Join the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) as a Sitefinity Technical Director on a one-year remote contract. In this pivotal role, you will be an integral part of the Permitting Transformation (PTP) solution development team, focusing on both front-end and back-end web portal development. Your efforts will primarily involve integrating the portal with Microsoft Power Platform (Dynamics) and various other systems and applications, enhancing our operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain the Sitefinity Web Portal, ensuring seamless functionality and user experience.
Integrate the portal with MS Power Platform and other critical systems and applications.
Collaborate closely with the Lead Developer, Architect, and a dedicated team of developers and business analysts to achieve project goals.
Uphold standards and best practices in development, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Engage actively in Agile development methodologies to facilitate teamwork and iterative progress.
Required Skills
Extensive experience in Sitefinity development and administration (5 years).
Proficient in standards-based .NET development (5 years).
Strong background in MVC framework (5 years).
Proven capability to integrate portals with EPA shared services registration data (5 years).
Familiarity with Agile development practices (5 years).
Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Sitefinity development and administration, .NET development, and MVC frameworks is required.
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation And Benefits
