What We Are Looking For

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Test Engineer (Automation) to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our software products. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about developing automated testing frameworks and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software. A brief view into what the role entails…

  • Maintain and update existing automated tests in TestComplete to ensure they align with current software functionality.
  • Design, develop, and implement new regression tests using TestComplete.
  • Research, develop, and integrate advanced automated testing methods, such as API and performance testing, utilizing the best tools and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements and strategies.
  • Analyse test results, identify defects, and provide detailed reports and recommendations for software improvements.
  • Continuously enhance testing processes by staying informed about emerging tools, trends, and best practices in automation and quality assurance.
  • Integrate automation testing into the CI/CD pipeline in collaboration with development and QA teams.

What You’ll Need

  • 4+ years of experience in automation testing or a related role.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript for scripting and debugging automated tests.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools, with TestComplete experience highly desirable.
  • Expertise in API testing and tools like Postman or equivalent.
  • Experience with performance testing tools.
  • Experience using Powershell and working with Linux console.
  • Strong understanding of automation frameworks, CI/CD tools, and testing methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Applicants will need to have unrestricted rights to work in Australia to be eligible for this role (which will be verified during our recruitment process).

Successful applicants will need to be willing to obtain a National Police Check as part of the final stages of our recruitment process.

What We Offer

  • Flexible Work Environment: One of our key benefits is the flexibility we offer team members within their working schedule and working environment. As a result, this role can be either a hybrid position working remotely and in person at the Adelaide office, or a fully remote role, based anywhere in Australia.
  • Paid Volunteering Time: We encourage giving back to the community with dedicated paid volunteering hours.
  • Birthday Leave: We offer team members the opportunity to celebrate their birthday annually with a paid day off of birthday leave, to be taken anytime during the team member’s birthday month, at no cost to their annual leave balance.
  • Paid parental Leave: We offer 6 weeks paid parental leave for our team members that have been with us for at least 6 months
  • Home Office Allowance: A $1,200 allowance to help you set up your home office.

We believe in supporting our team members both personally and professionally, fostering an environment where everyone can thrive.
