As a Construction Contracts Specialist, you are responsible for:

Subcontractor Contracts

Coordinate the drafting/signing of Subcontractor Contracts (based on our standard contract template and input from Project Management for the specific Subcontractor and Project)

Subcontractor Insurance

Coordinate the collection of Subcontractor insurance policies
Coordinate the collection of Subcontractor Certificates of Insurance (COIs) for specific project
Coordinate the tracking of the above information in our software platform

Contract Compliance

Coordinate compliance with requirements in customer contracts with Project Management, Accounting and HR

Prevailing Wage Compliance

Data verification on Sign-in Sheets and certified payroll reports submitted by the Employees and Subcontractors

Section 3 and MWBE Reporting

Monthly, Quarterly and Annual MWBE and Section 3 reporting for various contracts

Section 3 Compliance

Maintain internal reporting regarding Section 3 requirements

What You Need

Experience with contracts and compliance required
Experience with Construction insurance in New York is preferred
Experience with DocuTrax or Jones (subcontractor compliance software) preferred
Strong Excel skills (specifically Pivot Tables and Lookups)
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
