Job description

OCON Services is a multi-disciplinary Ground Engineering, Civil and Plant Hire Contractor providing a

comprehensive range of civil and plant hire services to public and private sector clients.

We are currently seeking expressions of interest for pipelayers on the Snowy Hydro 2.0 project in the Kosciuszko National Park NSW area.

You must have at least a relevant qualification and 2 years experience in Drainage, Pipe Laying and Pit Building or 5 years relevant experience if no qualification held'

Requirements Include

Reading plans

Setting up pipe laser

Maintaining below-ground drainage systems

Installing water supply systems, discharge pipes and sanitary fixtures

Replacing sections of below ground drains

Locating and clearing blockages in drainage systems

Testing drainage systems

Taking your own levels

Completing your own QA Doc’s

Skills & Experience

An excellent work ethic and attitude
punctual timekeeping
Experience working in High Risk construction areas
Provide 2 referees that can provide reference to your 3years minimum experience
Capable of submitting electronic timesheets (training to be provided)
A high attention to detail and pride in your work
The ability to execute under pressure
Ability to integrate and contribute positively to the team
