Position Overview

The Lead Administrative Associate performs a variety of complex administrative tasks under minimal supervision. This role requires a detailed understanding of insurance and securities products, office and company policies and procedures to support field manager and producers in their sales and marketing operation.

Responsibilities

  • Adheres to all FINRA & SEC compliance regulations and performs compliance related functions as appropriate to their position.
  • Keeps current with resident and non-resident state’s regulations and requirements for licensing and application.
  • Assists financial professionals with the packaging of complex cases for submission to Home Office.
  • Maintains and updates the Agency Data System (ADS)
  • Assists the office manager/regional administrator with the training of employees in all aspects of new business and compliance.
  • Maintains documentation and correspondent files received in the office.
  • Participates in special projects, and provides support/back-up in all aspects of the office.

Skills And Abilities

  • Ability to deal with distractions and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills (written/oral)
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to interact with field staff, financial professionals and home office, build strong working relationships and work with others in a collaborative team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite/Outlook. Quicken or Quick Books (a plus)
  • Ability to make a positive contribution as demonstrated by learning new skills and making suggestions for process/procedure improvement.

Education

  • H.S. Diploma or Equivalent education Required and
  • FINRA Series 6 or 7 Preferred

Experience

  • 3-5 Years of insurance/securities or relevant outside experience Required

Base salary Range - $60,000 - $80,000
