Job description

We are seeking a skilled BI Backend Developer to join our internal project aimed at transforming the organization into a Data-Driven Enterprise. The role focuses on developing and enhancing the existing data warehouse architecture (Lakehouse – Databricks) and expanding the reporting layer with Power BI. The project involves implementing automation solutions, AI-driven decision-making tools, and building a robust data management and data governance layer to ensure solution stability.

Responsibilities

Develop data warehouse structures in a medallion architecture using Databricks.
Analyze functional and technical requirements for integration processes (Databricks Notebook, Azure Data Factory).
Build and optimize analytical models and reports using Power BI.
Collaborate with technical leads, architects, analysts, and developers in project meetings.
Analyze business requirements to define work scope and deliverables.
Prepare and maintain project documentation.
Support the development of self-service reporting domains and tools for data governance and AI adoption.
Provide and update information on professional competencies in internal systems.

Requirement

Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering and working with data warehouses/platforms (designing extraction and transformation processes).
At least 2 years of experience designing and implementing analytical models.
At least 2 years of experience in designing and implementing Power BI reports.
At least 1 year of experience working with Databricks and Lakehouse architecture.
Minimum 2 years of experience conducting business analysis.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of AI-driven solutions and data governance toos.
Strong understanding of self-service reporting and domain-driven design concepts.
Proactive mindset, collaborative team player, and excellent communication skills.
