The Strategy and Operations Manager, Supply Chain will lead the optimization of sourcing, vendor management, and logistics processes, leveraging AI, automation, and data analytics to improve efficiency and reduce disruptions. This role will drive strategic initiatives to ensure timely availability of parts, enhance operational performance, and support Sears Home Services' goal of delivering exceptional service to customers.

The Strategy and Operations Manager, Supply Chain will lead the optimization and transformation of supply chain processes by leveraging AI, automation, and data-driven strategies to improve sourcing, vendor management, logistics, and operational efficiency, ensuring timely and cost-effective service delivery for Sears Home Services.

Responsibilities/Skills/Experience Requirements
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Designs and executes supply chain strategies to optimize vendor prioritization logic, balancing cost, speed, and reliability to improve job completion rates and customer satisfaction
Implements data-driven solutions by building dashboards and reporting tools to monitor KPIs, including lead times, fill rates, and technician productivity, ensuring visibility into supply chain performance
Leverages automation and AI by partnering with product and automation teams to implement AI-driven models that enhance demand forecasting, inventory planning, and vendor selection processes
Drives process improvement by collaborating cross-functionally to streamline procurement and logistics workflows, implementing automation solutions that reduce manual intervention
Builds and maintains strong relationships with key suppliers, including the nation s largest distributors and OEMs, to ensure timely delivery and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs)
Supports strategic initiatives by leading projects related to sourcing diversification, cost-efficiency programs, and risk mitigation to safeguard against supply chain disruptions
Optimizes time-to-tech by identifying and implementing solutions that minimize parts-related delays and ensure technicians have the right parts at the right time to reduce job reschedules and cancellations
Job Requirements
Bachelors Degree
3-4 years of related experience
18 years of age or older
Required Skills
Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain Management
3-4 years of experience in supply chain, business operations, or a rapid paced, high standards environment
Strong analytical skills with experience using tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau
Hands-on experience with AI or automation technologies in supply chain processes (e.g., predictive modeling, automation bots, or API integrations)
Strong project management capabilities with a track record of leading cross-functional initiatives
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence internal teams and external vendors
Ability to work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment while managing multiple priorities
Preferred Skills
Master's degree in Business or Supply Chain Management
