Summary
Platzi is seeking a Motion Designer to create visually compelling animations and graphics that enhance user engagement and deliver measurable business results. As part of the production team, you’ll work closely with the design team to produce creative assets that align with our brand and contribute to objectives like high click-through rates (CTR) and efficient customer acquisition costs (CAC).

Description
As a Motion Designer at Platzi, you’ll be at the forefront of creating impactful visual content. From designing storyboards and animatics to editing raw footage with dynamic animations, you’ll ensure every piece of content aligns with Platzi’s brand guidelines and performance goals. Your work will contribute to key performance metrics and help bring our ideas to life with rhythm, precision, and creative energy.
You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including art directors, project managers, and audiovisual producers, to ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality projects. With a focus on branding and innovation, you’ll play a critical role in making Platzi’s content stand out.
Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere, After Effects, and Illustrator.
- Proven experience creating storyboards, animatics, and dynamic animations that meet branding and performance goals.
- Strong knowledge of branding strategies and their application to creative projects.
- Ability to synthesize concepts into impactful graphics and animations with a focus on performance metrics like CTR and CAC.
- Experience collaborating with creative and production teams to define project objectives and scope.
- Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on maintaining version control and organized asset libraries.
- B1 level of English proficiency or higher.
- Exceptional time management and the ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environments.
Plus:
- Experience in sound design, including foley effects and sound transitions.
- Familiarity with motion graphics best practices for digital platforms.
