Visit.org is looking for a passionate and ambitious Writing & Editing Operations Associate to join our remote team. The Writing & Editing Associate will write content and curate images for Visit.org experience pages, event content, and other content applications, playing an important role in promoting our social impact experiences to our corporate partners. The right candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, extreme passion for our mission, and the energy and discipline to come in and be a builder in a start-up tech environment.

Responsibilities
Write and edit content for Visit.org experience pages, creating compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of our corporate partners allowing them to understand what they can expect from our experiences
Curate images for experience pages and other content applications
Enter content into the Visit.org admin panel for publication
Proofread and publish experience pages
Write and edit additional website content as needed
Write and edit additional event content as needed
Qualifications
5+ years work experience as a content writer, copywriter, editor, or similar role
Fluent English speaker (additional languages—especially Spanish—are a plus)
Excellent writing, grammar, and proofreading skills with thorough attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to write informative, engaging content
Experience with technical writing is a plus
Experience with SEO is a plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects concurrently
Ability to learn quickly and grasp different processes and/or systems
Passion for our mission and the desire to make an impact in the world through technology
Familiarity with software like Google Suite and Slack

This is a remote, full-time, Philippines-based contract position. Must be available between 9AM - 6PM ET with some flexibility required
