Job description

The Vice President Human Resources is responsible for the strategy, leadership, development and execution of human resources business partnerships, reporting to the CHRO. Works closely with Executive, Operations and HR leadership to establish the right culture, organization design and practices that will enable the company to achieve its growth and performance goals.



Responsibilities:

  • Acts as a business partner to the leadership team to run and grow a successful business.
  • Champions the development of talent strategies that enable business strategies.
  • Develops, enhances, and maintains the organization's human capital through effective planning, implementation, and evaluation of employee relations and human resource policies, programs, and practices.
  • Partners with leaders to create, implement, and execute on a strategic workforce plan and reward system to ensure the company is attracting, retaining, developing and rewarding its employees appropriately.
  • Helps to establish expectations and framework for a diverse, inclusive and engaging work environment.
  • Partners with leaders on the delivery and execution of core annual HR processes (e.g. performance management, salary reviews, talent reviews).
  • Leads and develops a high performing HR business partnership team focused on strategies and initiatives that drive business performance and build a strong and consistent culture.
  • Works with Legal and Compliance teams, ensuring that HR policies, programs and practices are meeting all regulatory, compliance and legal requirements.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; HR certification preferred; master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive HR and leadership experience, including experience within a global company, required, experience in a manufacturing environment desired.
  • Experience in managing others and leading initiatives.
  • Experience in acquisition activity, including integration of businesses, desired.
  • Experience partnering with and presenting to senior leaders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, and HRIS systems.
  • Demonstrates strong leadership capability and superb communication, coaching, influencing, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with people at all levels of the organization.
  • Extensive knowledge of the practices of Human Resources within a global business.
  • Ability to think strategically while also focusing on tactical and operational issues.
  • An established track record of building strong, effective teams.
