Business Product Analyst (PO)

Business Product Analyst opportunity

For the Data & Technology Platform Safety, Security & Crisis Management we are looking for a Business Analyst with coordinating skills, project management experience or PO skills. Within the Business Platform we are setting up a team that will act as a bridge between end users and external suppliers.


Your role as Business Product Analyst will include:

• Collecting and prioritizing wishes and improvements from end users and, together with the team and the supplier, investigating what exactly is needed
• Ensuring that solutions provided by external parties meet the clients performance and hosting requirement
• The functional management of externally purchased applications, where this has not been arranged by the suppliers
  

Requirements:

• Coordination skills to ensure effective communicating with different stakeholders in and outside the client.
• Understanding user requirements and their importance.
• Knowledge of applicable rules and regulations (e.g., CAOs, GDPR, laws).
• Translating user requirements into clear features.
• Negotiating requirements with vendors.
• Supporting technical teams in choosing the best implementation of features.
• Assisting the PO in feature prioritization.
• Ensuring User Acceptance Testing is performed to validate criteria are met.
• Supporting Business Process testing.
  
  

Other responsibilities include:

• Analyzing the business impact based on predefined KPIs and metrics.
• Regularly testing the product from a user perspective to uncover hidden bugs.
• Addressing user dissatisfaction by translating requirements into new features
• Organizing product workshops and explanation sessions to promote user adoption.
• Support products in line with service level agreements (SLAs).
• Participate in the incident management process to resolve issues.
• Perform necessary technical configurations to adjust products to user needs.
• Adjust application parameters or data/control table configurations as required.
