Providing technical input and advice to clients in relation to electrical / energy infrastructure projects.
Exploring opportunities for innovation and sustainability in all aspects of our design.
Progress reporting.
Client liaison including presentation of design reports for review and discussion.
Qualifications
Minimum:
Electrical Engineering Degree ideally level 8
Sufficient and appropriate experience
Chartered Engineer status or equivalent is an advantage; candidates should be seeking to achieve this status if not already achieved.
Full clean driving licence.
Computer literate – Microsoft packages etc.
Desirable
Familiarity with some or all aspects of HV substations from 10kV to 220kV.
Familiarity with engineering software packages (Powerfactory, ETAP)
Familiarity with ESB standards

Team player and have good interpersonal skills.
Technical leader.
Flexible, committed and work well under time pressure.
Safety focused.
Logical and imaginative approach to problem solving.
Proven capability in decision making.
Motivated and work well without direct supervision
While candidates with all stated experience would be preferred, we would consider applicants for a trainee role with some of the desired skills and experience.
