Provide EDA tool support to our Global IP team. Support includes but not limited to debugging, tool usage recommendations, improving tool flow efficiencies, automation scripting, tool evaluations, and tape out job views.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES; include but not limited to:

Evaluate, propose, and implement the automation of design flow
Installation of EDA tools, providing up-to-date tools' versions to the design community
Maintaining the design configuration management system
Configuring the load balancer, to provide optimum throughputs of all submitted jobs Interfacing with Application Engineers of 3rd party EDA vendors
Collaborating with IT on compute resources, ensuring an uninterrupted design operation

Qualifications And Required Experience

BSEE, with 5+ years of CAD experience
Semiconductor industry experience and familiarity with chip design
Have thorough understanding of all aspects of the design flow: design input, simulation, layout, verification, tape out.
Familiar with Verilog, SPICE languages
A solid concept of digital and analog designs
Experience in developing user-friendly scripts
Strong programming structures concepts
Familiar with the concepts, and have experience in the setting up of design configuration management

Preferred Experience

Familiar with layout flow; knowledge of DRC/LVS verification and debugging is a plus
Experience in physical verification tools, extraction tools are a plus
Knowledge of cell characterization flow is a plus
Understand load balancing concepts; experience in configuring a load balancer is a plus Skills
Strong logistics and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong customer relationship skills

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $126,141 - 141,390. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, and the range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, role-related knowledge and skills, depth of experience, relevant education or training, and additional role-related considerations.

Depending on the position offered, equity, bonuses, commission, or other forms of compensation may also be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
