The Operational Excellence Leader is a senior member of the Enterprise Fraud Management team who plays an integral role in the department's ability to meet corporate objectives. This leader identifies and removes unnecessary steps to streamline processes enabling us to maximize operational speed and quality at an optimal cost while maintaining an excellent client experience. The role will be measured on his/her ability to collaborate with operational leaders and drive for results.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Responsible for leading and deploying new initiatives and executing on complex operational processes.
Recommends procedures, establishes, modifies documents, and coordinates implementation of proper control and compliance procedures.
Maintains procedure inventory.
Advise management on desirable operational adjustments due to regulatory, product/service, environmental and/or vendor management changes.
Special projects, research, analysis as assigned by the Fraud Deputy Director or the Head of EFM.
Development of key performance metrics.
Thoughtful, key contributor to operational strategy discussions.
Flexible and willing to respond to unanticipated issues and constantly reprioritize based on business demands.
Evaluate situations, identify gaps, recommend controls/products to achieve strategic objectives, and "tell the story" succinctly in order to gain support and champion change.
Lead operational changes through formal change management processes.
Leverage data to drive informed decision making.
Challenge stakeholders in a constructive manner.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

SME in respective area within EFM.
Autonomous self-starter who takes initiative and works independently while effectively escalating issues or concerns.
Minimum of eight (8) years' experience managing large operational functions; preferably in fraud.
Exceptional documentation and process management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
Experience with front end reporting tools such as Tableau, Sisense, or equivalent
Ability to translate leadership vision into executable strategies.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Working knowledge of the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), Reg E, Reg CC, Reg Z, and other rules and regulations as required.
Ability to deliver results working with cross functional teams.
Ability to influence others at all levels in the organization without direct authority.
Bachelor's degree in business-related field or equivalent education and related training.
Solid time management and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience leading fraud operational functions.
Additional Job Description:
Coordinate data studies with internal and external partners
Coordinate Proof of Concept exercises with potential vendors
Evaluate vendors for improvements to existing or potential Fraud/Product offerings
Deliver presentations to external and internal partners as well as Truist Executives
Research and troubleshoot issues independently
Interpret technical requirements and communicate those to various stakeholders
Develop strategies to lower operational costs
Deliver regulatory, mandated, and technical changes in a timely manner
Utilize internal systems for ad hoc reviews of our existing processes
