Job description

Technical Account Managers (TAMs) play a crucial role in customer success and satisfaction. As technical referents, TAMs are dedicated to understanding and addressing customers' cybersecurity needs and challenges. They are trusted advisors and product experts, providing guidance on how to operate and optimize cybersecurity solutions to meet specific business objectives.


You're based in Germany.


At TEHTRIS, TAMs play a key role in customer success through their technical expertise and collaborative approach, including supporting internal SOC/MDR/Support Level1 teams and Professional Services teams in managing complex cases.


Your tasks:

  • Carry out comprehensive technical assessments with the aim of maximizing security, resilience, cost reduction and minimizing risk.
  • You are responsible for the technical adoption of solutions by configuring and optimizing them to ensure consistent added value and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage the technical reference architecture and oversee change management governance.
  • Take ownership of complex technical support cases, working closely with R&D to resolve issues.
  • Enhance technical expertise and solution knowledge of users within customer or partner accounts through training services and certification pathways.
  • Implement data-driven preventive and prescriptive actions to improve system performance and security.
  • Carry the voice of the customer within the organization to improve the overall user experience.
  • Participate in beta and early adopter programs for upcoming solution releases.
  • Participate in cybersecurity industry events, including webinars and training courses, to integrate best practices and ongoing skills development internally.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Product and Product Marketing teams on technical webinars, POCs and architectural aspects.
  • Contribute to building a centralized rules-based library by collaborating with technical users and internal stakeholders.
  • Identify expansion opportunities in partnership with Sales to accelerate account growth.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Success team to drive adoption of the solution and improve the customer experience throughout the customer journey.



Profile desired :


You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technology-related field, preferably in IT or engineering.

You will have 3+ years' experience in support, development, engineering, IT or quality assurance (QA), with a strong preference for experience in the cyber security industry.

For this role, you will need to have:

  • A solid understanding of IT concepts such as operating systems, network infrastructure and security solutions.
  • Expertise in cybersecurity solutions.
  • An ability to be a trusted technical advisor and subject matter expert for your dedicated accounts.
  • A strong understanding of the challenges and priorities of business results and customer and partner satisfaction.
  • A good command of Python for the development of applications and scripts in languages such as bash and Powershell.
  • Knowledge of analytical tools such as Elastic and Kibana is a plus.
  • Effective project management with changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to explain complex information to customers clearly and concisely.
  • An understanding of the concepts of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD).
  • An ability to tackle complex technical challenges and present solutions effectively.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Fluent in German and English (French would be appreciated).


This position requires approximately 30% travel. This position requires travel within the DACH region and to the head office in Pessac (France).
