Job description

Location:  This position may be performed remotely with travel to the Boston area as needed.

The Opportunity
Praxis is seeking an experienced IT Security Administrator to join our Information Technology team. This role will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring security best-practices across our cloud infrastructure while ensuring proper access management and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain security controls across Azure, AWS, and Microsoft 365 environments, including implementation of security best practices and hardening measures
  • Maintain and manage single-sign on (SSO) and multifactor authentication (MFA)
  • Establish and manage recommended end point security controls and settings for integration with Intune.
  • Manage user access lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, and periodic access reviews across all company systems and applications
  • Monitor security events and alerts across cloud platforms using native and third-party security tools
  • Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans of cloud infrastructure
  • Maintain documentation of security configurations, processes, and procedures
  • Participate in incident response activities and security investigations as needed
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements including GxP, HIPAA, and FDA guidelines
  • Review and validate security configurations against industry standards and best practices

 

Qualifications and Key Success Factors

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Excellent proficiency with current cybersecurity best practices in Azure and AWS
  • Experience with Atlassian (Jira Service Management, Confluence) desirable
  • Industry certifications such as Security+, ISC2 certification desired
  • Excellent interpersonal, teaching, and communications skills required
  • May require occasional on-call rotation for incident response

Visual acuity is required to read and produce accurate materials. Use of keyboards and cellular devices.

To round out this world-class total rewards package, we provide annualized base salary compensation in the range listed below.  Final salary range may be modified commensurate with job level, education, and experience.

$110,000$125,000 USD
